Katarzyna Kociołek (born March 11, 1995 in Łask ) is a Polish beach volleyball player .

Career

Kociołek took part in 2010 with Marzena Kedzior at the U18 European Championships in Porto and finished in 13th place. In 2011 she formed a duo with Karolina Baran . Kociołek / Baran took part in a tournament of the FIVB World Tour for the first time at the Mysłowice Open . Then they won the World Youth Championship in Umag . At the European Championships of the U20 in Tel Aviv and the U18 in Vilnius they were each third. In 2012 they reached the final of the Youth World Cup in Larnaka and were defeated by the Lithuanian duo Dumbauskaitė / Povilaitytė At the U18 European Championship in Brno , Kociołek won the title with Jagoda Gruszczyńska . With a final victory against the German Krebs / Wlk they achieved the same success at the U20 tournament in Hartberg . Then the duo took part in the Junior World Championships in Halifax and finished ninth. In 2013 Kociołek formed a new duo with Daria Paszek . Kociołek / Paszek finished ninth in the U23 World Cup in Mysłowice. With a wildcard they qualified for the World Championships in Stare Jabłonki , but were eliminated without a win after the preliminary round. With Gruszczyńska, Kociołek was U21 world champion in Umag in 2013.

From 2014 to 2016, Kociołek reached the final of the U22 European Championship three times in a row. In 2017 she won the Smart Beach Cup in Duisburg together with Aleksandra Gromadowska after six games in qualification and seven games in the main draw. Since the end of 2017, Kociołek has formed a new duo with Kinga Wojtasik .
