Anika Krebs (born July 10, 1993 in Hamburg ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

As a teenager, Krebs played soccer for Hamburger SV . In 2005 she started her volleyball career at VfL Geesthacht . From there she first went to CVJM Hamburg and later moved to VT Aurubis Hamburg within the city . There the outside attacker came into action with the second team in the second division. In 2010, the junior national player moved to the VC Olympia Berlin youth team , with whom she played in the Bundesliga until 2013.

Career Beach

As a beach volleyball player , Krebs won the Hamburg U17 state championship with Kerrin Brüggemann in 2009 . In the same year she took part with Jelena Wlk at the U18 European Championships in Espinho and finished ninth. In 2010 she took third place in Porto in the same competition with Anna Behlen . A year later, the duo was fifth in the U19 World Cup in Umag and ninth in the U20 European Championship in Tel Aviv . With Wlk, Krebs won the German U19 championship in 2011; she also reached the final of the U20 competition. At the U20 European Championships 2012 in Hartberg (Austria) she finished second with Wlk. Together with Sandra Seyfferth she then played in Halifax (CAN) at the U21 World Cup and reached fifth place. In 2013 Krebs / Wlk became U21 vice world champions in Umag, Croatia, and took part in the German championships in Timmendorfer Strand for the first time. In 2014, Krebs played with Jenny Heinemann and in 2015 with Melanie Gernert , with whom she won a tournament on the national Smart Beach Tour for the first time in Jena . At the German championship, Gernert / Krebs took ninth place. In 2016, Krebs played with Anna Behlen again. Behlen / Krebs won the Smart Super Cup in Kühlungsborn and finished seventh in the German championship . In 2017, Krebs played alongside Lena Ottens . With Anne Krohn , Krebs reached fifth place in the German championship in 2018 . In 2019 Leonie Welsch is her partner.
