Sandra Seyfferth (born October 1, 1992 in Grimma ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career hall
Sandra Seyfferth began playing indoor volleyball in her hometown and later played in the second division team at VV Grimma . In 2007 the outside attacker switched to the junior team of VC Olympia Dresden , where she was still active in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2010 she won the German U20 championship with Dresdner SC . In the 2012/13 season she played again for her old club VV Grimma in the 2nd Bundesliga.
Career Beach
Sandra Seyfferth has also been active in beach volleyball since 2007. At first she played with various partners at youth championships, on the Smart Beach Tour and other national tournaments. With Isabel Schneider as a partner, she finished 19th at the U19 World Championship in Alanya in 2009 and fifth at the 2010 U20 European Championship in Catania . In the same year she achieved fifth place at the U19 World Cup in Porto with Anna Behlen from Kiel . At the side of Kim Behrens , she finished fourth at the 2011 U20 European Championship in Tel Aviv .
In 2012 she initially formed a duo with Anni Schumacher and also took part in the European Championships in The Hague . She later played again with Anna Behlen and took 13th place at the German championships in Timmendorfer Strand . Following this, Seyfferth and Anika Krebs landed in fifth place at the U21 World Cup in Halifax, Canada .
Since 2013, Sandra Seyfferth played again with Kim Behrens. The two defense specialists reached fifth place at the U22 European championships in Varna and ninth place at the German championships . In 2014, Seyffert / Behrens became vice student world champions in Porto and again finished ninth at the German championships .
Since the end of 2014 Seyfferth played again with Anni Schumacher and finished seventh at the 2015 German Championships . Katharina Culav was her partner in 2016 and Leonie Körtzinger in 2017 . Then Seyfferth ended her career.
