action

The film, directed by actors from Germany and Italy, was shot in Verona , the city of "Romeo and Juliet", and partly in Hamburg . Julia Lichtenberg ( Katharina Böhm ) is the in-house lawyer at the Hamburg-based company Pasta Waller and at the same time the lover of her boss Peter Waller ( Markus Boysen ). She travels to the picturesque Italian city of Verona to negotiate the takeover of the Galvani family's fine pasta manufacture. Against all expectations, she comes across her ex-lover Robert Donatius ( Christoph M. Ohrt ), who works as a lawyer for Galvanis. Robert had left Julia standing in front of the altar 15 years ago out of sheer panic, but love is slowly coming back to life. Soon the two of them spend romantic moments in the city and discover famous and less famous places in Verona. But the film tells not only one romance, but three of them. Peter's daughter Sara ( Theresa Scholze ) is also in love with Galvani's son Marco ( Mirko Lang ), and when Peter also comes to Verona, he soon falls for the charm of the beautiful Francesca Brunelli ( Ulrike C. Tscharre ). In this highly complex situation Julia tries to soften Peter's attitude towards the Galvanis.

And the film critic Tina Berger wrote: "What is really interesting is the new image of strong women and soft men and a world with economic problems that the author Christiane Sadlo draws with a light hand today".
