Wiktorija Jurjewna Schilinskaite ( Russian Виктория Юрьевна Жилинскайте , scientific transliteration Viktorija Jur'evna Žilinskajte ; Lithuanian Žilinskaitė ; born March 6, 1989 in Urai ) is a Russian handball player .
Career
Wiktorija Schilinskaite played from 2004 for the Russian club GK Ufa-Alissa. Four years later, the backcourt player joined the Russian first division club GK Lada Tolyatti , with whom she won the EHF Cup in 2012 and 2014 . In the summer of 2014, she signed a contract with league rivals GK Astrachanotschka . With Astrakhanochka, she won the Russian championship in 2016. She then moved to GK Kuban Krasnodar . In 2019 she joined the Russian first division club PGK CSKA Moscow . After a season in Moscow, she returned to Kuban Krasnodar.
Schilinskaite is a member of the Russian national team . With Russia she won the gold medal at the 2009 World Cup and in 2008 the bronze medal at the European Championship. In summer 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London . She won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .
