Viktoria Vershynina

Wiktorija Verhynina ( Ukrainian Вікторія Вершиніна , English transcription Viktoriya Vershynina ; born June 11, 1971 in Poltava , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Ukrainian long jumper .

In 1995 she was eighth at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg and won gold at the Universiade . The following year, they fail at the Olympic Games in Atlanta in qualifying.

In 1997 she finished seventh at the World Championships in Athens and won silver at the Universiade. At the 1999 World Cup in Seville and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney , she was eliminated in the preliminary round.

In 1994 she became Ukrainian champion in triple jump and 1999 in long jump.
