The 744 m high Wildstein (also: Wildenstein) belongs to the municipality of Teunz in the Upper Palatinate district of Schwandorf Bavaria and is located southwest of the village of Wildstein (Teunz) about 6 kilometers east of the B 22 . The Burgstall Wildstein is located on its summit . From the village of Wildstein, the summit can be reached on a gently sloping footpath of less than a kilometer in length and around 70 meters in altitude. The 140-kilometer castle trail laid out by the Upper Palatinate Forest Association also leads over the Burgstall Wildstein . The next castle stable in the west is the Kunzenstein , the next castle in the south is the Obermurach castle .
