Wilfrid Wilson Gibson

Wilfrid Wilson Gibson (born October 2, 1878 in Hexham , Northumberland , † May 26, 1962 in Virginia Water , Surrey ) was a British poet .

Wilfrid Wilson Gibson was one of the Dymock Poets . Although this group was based in Gloucestershire , Northumberland , where he was born, was the subject of many of his poems. He began to publish these before the First World War. Gibson was also represented in the poetry collection Georgian Poetry edited by Edward Marsh and can therefore be counted among the Georgian Poets .
