Wilfried Gerke
Wilfried Gerke (born May 12, 1944 in Posen ) is a German author. His focus is on publications on regional topics for the Diepholz area ( Lower Saxony ) and the Poznan area . After studying in Münster (1964–1969; subjects: German studies, history), Gerke initially completed his legal clerkship (1969–1971) in Bielefeld . From 1971 to 2009 he worked as a senior teacher at the grammar school in Diepholz.
He lives and works in Diepholz and works as an author in the Diepholz region. In addition to his job as a teacher in the Lower Saxony school service, he has been in charge of the “Heimatblätter” of the Diepholz district since 1984 .
