Ralf Vogeding

Ralf Vogeding (born March 4, 1957 in Bramsche , Lower Saxony ) is a German folklorist . He has been the full-time director of the Syke District Museum since 1989 .

Life

Ralf Vogeding grew up in Bramsche. After graduating from high school in Bramsche in 1977 and completing his military service, he studied art history , folklore and German studies from 1978 to 1986 at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and at the Philipps University in Marburg and completed his studies with a doctorate . He then worked at the Schleswig-Holstein State Museum in Schleswig , a. a. in a DFG project on farmhouses. Vogeding has been director of the district museum in Syke since 1989. The focus of his work is research on regional and everyday history. He is the author or co-author of numerous publications, especially on exhibitions on various topics.
