Wilfried Terno
Wilfried Terno (born January 31, 1946 in Vetschau / Spreewald ) is a former German judge at the Federal Court of Justice .
After completing basic military service , he studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and passed the second state examination in 1974. Until mid-1979 he was a judge at the Hanover Regional Court . He then worked as a research assistant at the Federal Constitutional Court until mid-1982 and as a judge at the Oldenburg Higher Regional Court until mid-1991 .
Terno became a judge at the Federal Court of Justice in July 1991. He belonged there first the 3rd Criminal Division of the Federal in 1992, he joined the with insurance law and inheritance law dealing IV. Civil Division . In 1992 he became deputy chairman and in May 2001 chairman judge of the 4th Civil Senate. He retired on January 31, 2011 when he reached the age limit. He has been with the Johannsen law firm since March 2011 .
Terno is co-editor of the Zeitschrift für Notarpraxis (ZNotP) and is a member of the editorial team of the specialist journal Recht und Schaden (r + s).
