Wilhelm Abicht

Wilhelm Abicht (* 1870 or 1872 ; † after 1928 ) was a German civil servant who was last ministerial director in the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture, Domains and Forests from 1918 to 1928 .

Life

Abicht graduated after school to study law and put his 1891 promotion to Dr. jur. from. In 1900 he was Councilor in Danzig and 1905 successor to Johann von Eisenhart-Rothe as district administrator of Bromberg . He remained in this post until he was replaced by Max Hausleutner in 1912 and then moved to the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture, Domains and Forests as a secret government councilor, where he was promoted to the secret upper government council in 1917. In 1918 he became Ministerial Director in the Prussian Ministry of Agriculture, Domains and Forests and remained in this position until he retired in 1928. In addition, in 1918 he became chairman of the board of trustees of the Institute for Inland Fisheries in Berlin-Friedrichshagen , member of the examination commission for senior administrative officials and the Central Moor Commission . In 1920 he was also chairman of the board of trustees of the higher gardening school in Berlin-Dahlem .
