Hans von Eisenhart-Rothe

Johann Karl Moritz Friedrich Ferdinand "Hans" von Eisenhart-Rothe (born September 10, 1862 in Lietzow , Regenwalde district , † August 31, 1942 in Berchtesgaden ) was a German administrative lawyer in Prussia.

Life

He came from an aristocratic family in the Brandenburg region and was the son of the landscape director and landowner Ferdinand von Eisenhart Rothe (1815–1880), landlord on Lietzow and a royal Prussian cavalry master . D., and Emilie von Loeper (1824-1917). The politician Georg von Eisenhart-Rothe was his brother.

Eisenhart-Rothe studied law. In 1884 he was court trainee , in 1887 government trainee and in 1890 government assessor . In 1891 he became district administrator in the Schubin district , and in 1895 in the Bromberg district . From 1904 he was a member of the Secret Civil Cabinet . In 1905 he was appointed a secret government councilor and lecturer council. In 1908 he became a secret councilor. From 1909 to 1910 he was the district president of the Merseburg district . He was then Undersecretary of State in the Prussian State Ministry until the end of June 1914 . He was then, from August 1917 as a Real Privy Councilor, until January 1919, Upper President of the Posen Province . In November 1919 he was transferred to temporary retirement, and in May 1920 to final retirement.

Eisenhart-Rothe married on June 23, 1897 in Ludwigslust Hedwig Vanselow (born February 3, 1873 in Posen , † October 28, 1944 in Berchtesgaden), the daughter of General Arthur Vanselow (1827-1900) and Helene Bielefeld . The couple had a son and a daughter.
