Georg Emil Ferdinand Karl von Eisenhart-Rothe (born May 29, 1849 in Lietzow , Regenwalde district , † August 29, 1942 there ) was a German politician.

family

He came from the Brandenburg family Eisenhart that in 1706 in Beeskow was mentioned and their names leadership was "Eisenhart-Rothe" approved in February 1835 and was the son of the landowner and landscape Director Ferdinand von Eisenhart-Rothe (1815-1880), lord of the manor on Lietzow, and Emilie von Loeper (1824–1917). The chief president Hans von Eisenhart-Rothe was his brother.

Eisenhart-Rothe married on June 20, 1882 on Gut Wundichow ( Stolp district , Pomerania) Anna von der Marwitz (born June 21, 1860 on Gut Wundichow ; † June 28, 1955 in Bliestorf near Kastorf , Duchy of Lauenburg ), the daughter of the royal Prussian captain Adalbert von der Marwitz, landlord of Wundichow and Klein-Nossin (both parish of Schwarz Damerkow ), and Maria Henrichsdorf. His nephew was the royal Prussian major general and former Schutztruppe officer in German East Africa , Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck (1870–1964). The couple had several children:

Life

Eisenhart-Rothe was a lawyer when he joined the Prussian army in 1869, which he only left again in 1881 as Rittmeister , in order to take over his legacy as a lord of the Lietzow estate after the death of his father (1880). From 1892 to 1913 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the German Conservative Party as a member of the constituency district of Stettin 5 (Naugard - Regenwalde) . In 1918 he was briefly a member of the Prussian manor house . From 1918 to 1931 he was general landscape director of the Pomeranian landscape . Eisenhart-Rothe was a legal knight of the Order of St. John .
