Wilhelm Augustin Balthasar

Wilhelm Augustin Balthasar (born September 6, 1866 in Klein Miltzow , † December 1, 1933 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf ) was a German tax officer and playwright.

Wilhelm Balthasar was the eldest son of Alexander Balthasar (1834–1905) and his wife Armide Boldt (1840–1914). From 1890 he worked at the Reichsbank in Fulda , most recently as director. Since 1898 he was married to Elisabeth Kloos (1876–1958), daughter of the Braunschweig professor Johan Herman Kloos . In his spare time he wrote several plays. Wilhelm Balthasar died of diabetes at the age of 67 .
