Wilhelm Bischoff

Wilhelm Bischoff (born July 20, 1920 ) is a former German party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . He was chairman of the Magdeburg district committee of the NDPD.

Life

Bischoff, a baker by trade , became a new teacher in Roßlau after the end of the war in 1945 and later a headmaster in Zerbst .

From 1954 he was a full-time NDPD functionary. From 1965 he was secretary, from 1969 to March 15, 1972 he acted as chairman of the NDPD district board in Magdeburg. Bischoff was also temporarily a member of the NDPD main committee.

Since November 1971 he was a member of the parliament and chairman of the permanent budget and finance commission of the Magdeburg district assembly . From March 1972 he was secretary of the District Committee of the National Front. He was also the deputy chairman of the district committee of the Society for German-Soviet Friendship in Magdeburg.

Bischoff was awarded the Patriotic Order of Merit in bronze on October 5, 1970 .
