Wilhelm Johann "Willi" Burgard (born March 14, 1927 in Wiebelskirchen , † October 23, 2000 in Bexbach ) was a German athlete who competed for the Saarland .

biography

Wilhelm Burgard won a total of 14 gold medals at Saarland championships in hurdles , triple jump , long jump , pentathlon and 4 x 100 meter relay . In 1952 the athlete was part of the Saarland team at the Olympic Games in Helsinki . He started in the triple jump , but retired in qualifying as 29th.
