Wilhelm Casimir von Hellermann

William Casimir von Hellermann (* 23. November 1766 in Carzin ; † 5. December 1840 in Carzin ) was District Administrator of the circle principality in Pomerania .

His father Friedrich Georg Christoph von Hellermann (* 1723, † 1794) was a Rittmeister a. D. and had bought the Carzin estate and the Clannin estate belonging to it in 1762 . In 1767 he was elected district administrator for the principality district. In 1770 he also bought Gut Reckow and around 1780 Gut Viverow A.

Wilhelm Casimir von Hellermann came to the Stolp Kadettenanstalt as a cadet in 1774 at the age of seven . In 1780 he moved to the Berlin Cadet Institute . He served in the Prussian army , most recently as a lieutenant, until he took his leave in 1793.

In the same year Wilhelm Casimir von Hellermann was placed at his father's side as his successor in the office of district administrator of the principality district. After his death in 1794 he succeeded him in the office of district administrator. He resigned from office due to illness in 1812.

In 1790 Wilhelm Casimir von Hellermann bought the former Ponicken domain Vorwerk (with Neubalde) from the Prussian state , which received the rights of a manor. After the death of his father Wilhelm Casimir von Hellermann inherited the goods Carzin, Clannin, Reckow and Viverow A; he lived, like his father before, on Carzin. In the mid-19th century, its forests - in addition to the national forests - the only district in the principality after a veritable forest management plan were managed.

Wilhelm Casimir von Hellermann was first married to Louisa Helena , born von Germar . After her death, he married Constanze Ulrike Juliane , a daughter of George Julius Felix von der Osten , district administrator of the Ostenschen Kreis. His son Wilhelm von Hellermann (* 1810, † 1889) was also district administrator of the principality district.
