August Friedrich Bernhard von Gerlach-Parsow (born August 28, 1830 in Parsow , Fürstenthum district ; † September 20, 1906 there ) was a landowner , royal Prussian district administrator and politician.

He came from a noble family from the Lower Silesian Breslau (14th century), later from Nienburg (Saale) in the district of Bernburg (17th century), and was the son of the landowner Karl Heinrich von Gerlach (1783–1860), Fideikommissherr on Parsow and Schwemmin and landlord on Dornow as well as the Prussian district administrator of the Fürstenthum district, and Charlotte von Beyme (1792–1870), landlady on the Trienke , Drosedow , Steglitz, Dahlem, Schmargendorf and Ruhleben estates .

Gerlach married on February 22, 1861 on Gut Groß- Dubberow Asta von Kleist (* 6 July 1840 on Gut Groß-Dubberow; † 14 April 1933 on Gut Parsow). The couple had several daughters:

Life

Like his father, Gerlach was entertainer on the two estates of Parsow and Schwemmin and landowner on Trienke and Drosedow .

From 1857 to 1872 he was district administrator of the Fürstenthum district , after its dissolution in 1872 district administrator of the newly formed district of Köslin until 1891.

From 1866 to 1870 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives , from 1871 to 1887 and from 1890 to 1895 a member of the Reichstag as a member of the Conservative Party and German Conservative Party (so called from 1876). In 1889 he became a member of the Prussian manor house , to which he belonged until his death, upon presentation of the old and fortified properties in the Duchy of Kassuben .
