Richard von Blanckenburg

Venz Wilhelm Richard von Blanckenburg (born September 10, 1854 in Strachmin , Köslin district , † 1926 ) was a Prussian manor owner and politician .

He came from the noble von Blanckenburg family and was the son of Hermann von Blanckenburg (* 1824), landlord on Strachmin, and his wife Marie von Blanckenburg (* 1834).

Blanckenburg was the owner of the Schötzow manor in the Kolberg-Körlin district in the back Pomerania , Rittmeister of the reserve in the King's Uhlan Regiment No. 13 and Knight of Honor of the Order of St. John . In 1907 Blanckenburg became a member of the Prussian mansion for life on presentation of the old and fortified properties in the Duchy of Kassuben .
