Carl Heinrich von Gerlach

Carl Heinrich von Gerlach , also von Gerlach-Parsow (* March 1, 1783 , † April 12, 1860 ) was a Prussian politician and Pomeranian landowner.

He comes from the Breslau line of the von Gerlach family. His parents were the court president zu Köslin Ludwig August Wilhelm von Gerlach (1751-1809) and his wife Freiin Henriette von Braun († 1837).

Carl Heinrich von Gerlach was a landowner on Parsow near Körlin . From 1812 to 1839 he was district administrator for the principality district . In 1824 he became a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania and deputy state marshal . In 1847 he was a member of the United State Parliament . In 1854 he became a member of the newly formed Prussian manor house , to which he belonged until his death, upon presentation of the old and fortified property in the Duchy of Kassuben .

In 1814 he married Charlotte Wilhelmine von Beyme (* 1792), daughter of the Prussian statesman Carl Friedrich von Beyme . One son from this marriage was August von Gerlach (1830-1906), who like his father was a district administrator.
