Wilhelm Druck (born March 11, 1916 in Hagen (Westphalia) ; † August 13, 1974 in Eschenstruth ) was a German politician ( CDU and SRP ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After elementary school, Druck attended higher mechanical engineering school and worked as a mechanical engineer until 1935. He was active in the Christian youth movement in the Ruhr area. From 1935 to 1945 the glider pilot Druck was active as a volunteer in the air force and with the fighter pilots and dive fighters and in the Condor Legion during the Spanish Civil War . Seriously injured in the war, he worked as an independent technical export merchant after the end of the Second World War .

Wilhelm Druck was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from April 20, 1947 to October 23, 1952 (first and second electoral periods) and was a member of the CDU parliamentary group until February 28, 1951. From March 1, 1951, he was non-attached, joined the SRP parliamentary group on March 10, 1951 and joined the Abgg parliamentary group from July 15, 1952 to October 23, 1952 . Dr. Schrieber and Gen. on. Like other members of the SRP parliamentary group, Druck's mandate expired on October 23, 1952, following a ruling by the Federal Constitutional Court .
