Wilhelm Feutner

Wilhelm Feutner (born August 19, 1905 in Mörfelden ; † March 2, 1979 ) was a German politician ( KPD ) and former member of the state assembly of Greater Hesse, the predecessor of the Hessian state parliament .

Wilhelm Feutner attended elementary school in Mörfelden from 1911 to 1919 and the arts and crafts school in Frankfurt am Main from 1919 to 1924 . He was head of the KPD secretariat in the Groß-Gerau district . In 1932, during the Weimar Republic , he was sentenced to six months in prison for high treason and treason . After the seizure of power by the Nazis, he was arrested in 1933 and in the Osthofen concentration camp held. From 1934 to 1945 he was a technical employee at Adam Opel AG in Rüsselsheim . In 1934 he was the illegal leader of the communist resistance movement at Opel . In 1944 he was arrested again by the Gestapo (for distributing radio news from abroad). From 1945 until his retirement in 1970 he was a civil servant at the public prosecutor's office, then at the regional court in Frankfurt am Main .

Wilhelm Feutner was a member of the KPD from 1928 to 1933 and again from 1945. From July 15, 1946 to November 30, 1946 he was a member of the state assembly of Greater Hesse, which advised the constitution.
