Wilhelm Friedrich von Starck

Wilhelm Friedrich von Starck (born November 16, 1835 in Kassel , † December 1, 1913 in Wolfhagen ) was Minister of State in Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt .

Wilhelm Friedrich von Starck was the son of a state councilor from the Electorate of Hesse. He studied law and worked in the Hessian judicial service from 1858. During his studies in 1854 he became a member of the old Marburg fraternity Germania . He was initially a senior court trainee and from 1863 senior finance assessor. With the annexation of Electorate Hesse by Prussia, he entered Prussian service in 1866. He became a government assessor and in 1870 administrator of the Marburg district office . In 1874 he became a councilor at the high presidium in Kassel and in 1880 second councilor there. In 1886, von Starck was transferred to Frankfurt an der Oder as senior councilor and deputy to the regional president.

On April 1, 1888, he left the Prussian civil service and was appointed minister to Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. On August 23, 1888, he received the title of privy councilor and the title of excellence . From 1889 he also headed the Ministry of the Interior and from 1900 that of Finance.

On April 1, 1903, he retired for health reasons and then lived in Laar .
