Wilhelm Haug

Wilhelm Karl Haug (born October 11, 1904 in Lich ; † June 5, 1940 at Villers) was a Hessian politician ( NSDAP ) and a member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Family and work

Wilhelm Haug was the son of the mechanical engineer Mathias Haug and his wife Helene nee Vogt. Wilhelm Haug married Elisabeth nee Lorentz on July 18, 1929.

Wilhelm Haug worked as an administrative intern. After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists in 1933, he became administrative secretary.

He did military service in World War II and fell in France in 1940.

politics

Wilhelm Haug was a member of the state parliament from 1932 to 1933 in the 6th and 7th legislative periods. In 1933 he was appointed mayor of Darmstadt . In 1938 he became district manager in Darmstadt.
