description
Weyhers Castle was the seat of the Lords of Ebersberg called von Weyhers . The place itself belonged to the Lords of Eberstein , but they probably belonged to the same family. There are no remains of the former castle complex. It was first mentioned in 1270. The moated castle was in the southwestern part of the village. Their moats were connected to the Weyherbach coming from the side valley .

Individual evidence
- ↑ The Ebersberger and Ebersteiner were related to each other, had the same coat of arms (Streitangel = Franconian lily) and had common property, from which it is concluded that they were of one tribe, cf. Book: History of the barons of Eberstein and their possessions .
