The Klinge Castle , called Siglindisburg in earlier times , is a small, abandoned hilltop castle on a steep spur at 320  m above sea level. NN south of Mackenzell a current district of the city of Hünfeld in the district of Fulda in Hesse .

The directly in the rising edge of the wood on the left bank of the Nüst Postal located is halfway towards the place Silges and approximately midway between the northwest that are available Wüstung blade direction Mackenzell and the southwest thereof lying Röllberg towards Silges. The area to the north between the Mühlgraben and the Nüst with its wetland and two ponds is designated as the Nüsttal nature reserve near Mackenzell .

The former castle complex still has a neck ditch that separates the spur from the height behind it. Remnants of building foundations and the curtain wall are still faintly visible in the area.

The castle stable was first mentioned in a document around 1560. The construction is placed in the 11th century. It is believed that it was created by a sideline of the Lords of Mackenzell or as a route control by Fulda abbots. Exact documentary evidence is missing.

In the Mackenzell district there were two other facilities, the castle stables of the similar small Alt-Mackenzell castle from the 12th century southwest of the village below the Herrenmühle and the later moated castle in the village, built in 1253 under the Fulda Prince Abbot Heinrich IV von Erthal .
