Wilhelm Immenkamp (born September 21, 1870 in Essen , † February 1931 in Munich ) was a German portrait and church painter .

Immenkamp studied since November 2, 1892 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Gabriel von Hackl , Carl von Marr and Martin von Feuerstein . After graduating, he worked in Essen and Braunschweig . Wilhelm Immenkamp was friends with the director of the Braunschweigisches Landesmuseum Karl Steinacker (1872–1944). On behalf of the museum, he created the portrait of Wilhelm Raabe .

Together with his brother Heinrich , he came to Gijón on December 24, 1920 to visit the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Sagrado Corazón de Jesús). On June 21, 1922, they presented the finished designs of the ceiling paintings, the execution lasted until mid-1924. On January 10, 1926 the cycle of paintings of the Way of the Cross was inaugurated.
