Wilhelm Koch (born November 25, 1922 in Hanau ; † March 8, 1977 ) was a Hessian politician ( SPD ) and a former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Wilhelm Koch did an apprenticeship as a bricklayer after elementary school. From October 1941 to November 1946 he did military service as a pioneer and was then taken prisoner of war. Since 1947 he was a member of the IG Bau-Steine-Erden, employee representative on the board of the Kassel guild health insurance fund and on the board of the state association of the IKK in Hesse. Since July 1962 he worked as a union employee for IG Bau-Steine-Erden .

politics

Wilhelm Koch was a member of the SPD and from November 1, 1960 to October 31, 1972, City Councilor in Kassel .

From December 1, 1966 to March 8, 1977 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament and there from December 8, 1970 to March 8, 1977 deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group. In 1969 he was a member of the 5th and 1974 of the 6th Federal Assembly .
