Wilhelm Lindner (born October 11, 1884 in Iserlohn , † September 10, 1956 in Herford ) was a German editor, managing director and politician.

Live and act

Lindner worked after the completion of the middle school on a nickel - hut . After attending the iron and steel school in Duisburg , he worked in various iron and steel works and machine factories. Between 1906 and 1913 he was an editor in Frankfurt am Main . Lindner was a soldier during the First World War .

After the war, Lindner joined the German National People's Party (DNVP) . In 1920/21 he was editor-in-chief of the German national Lippische daily newspaper in Detmold . He was also a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg Provincial Synod since 1928 . Between 1924 and 1932 he was a member of the Prussian state parliament . From 1933 to 1934 Lindner worked as the district manager of Hamburg-Mannheimer Lebensversicherung . Then he was the managing director of the Heilpraktikerverband until 1942 . Between 1942 and 1945 he worked for the Reich Office for Reconstruction .

After 1945, Lindner joined the CDU . In 1946 he was a member of the Provincial Council for Westphalia . He was also a member of the appointed state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1946 and 1947 . In the first regular electoral period of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , he was directly elected member of the constituency of Halle (Westphalia) .
