Wilhelm Meier-Jobst

Wilhelm Meier-Jobst (born November 2, 1842 in Dinglinghausen , † January 7, 1916 in Leese ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Meier-Jobst attended elementary school until 1852 and the municipal grammar school in Lemgo until 1857. After leaving grammar school, he learned agriculture and from 1867 worked for a long time as an inspector on estates in West Prussia, later in his homeland returned. Since 1888 he was a member of the Lippe House of Representatives. In the municipal council he was since the introduction of the municipal ordinance of the principality and registrar's deputy since 1878.

From 1898 to 1907 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Principality of Lippe ( Detmold , Lemgo ) and the Free People's Party .
