Wilhelm Mohr (architect)

Wilhelm Mohr (born December 4, 1882 in Düsseldorf-Heerdt ; † February 16, 1948 in Düsseldorf ) was a German architect and interior designer .

Professional background

After completing his apprenticeship as a carpenter from 1906 to 1909, Wilhelm Mohr attended the Düsseldorf School of Applied Arts . After graduating under Wilhelm Kreis in 1909, he worked in the office community Banse, Bethan and Mohr from 1912.

From 1918 Mohr also worked as an interior designer for the Uerdingen wagon factory, among other things for the interior fittings of the trams. In 1924/1925 he joined the Schmalhorst and Mohr office community with the architect Leopold Schmalhorst and worked in residential construction until 1933.
