Wilhelm Pleydenwurff
Wilhelm Pleydenwurff (* 1460 in Nuremberg ; † 1494 ibid) was a German painter and wood sculptor.
Life
His father Hans Pleydenwurff , who moved from Bamberg , was an important Nuremberg painter. Wilhelm was probably the youngest of three sons. He worked with his future stepfather Michael Wohlgemut , Albrecht Dürer's teacher . Together with good cheer, he designed the pictures in Hartmann Schedel's World Chronicle published in 1493 .
