Wilhelm Scheibein
Wilhelm Scheibein (born May 17, 1869 in Bantice , Moravia , † April 18, 1936 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (SdP).
education and profession
After attending primary school , he attended a state trade school in Vienna . Then he learned the trade of carpenter and worked in a sugar factory . He later became a railroad employee and, in the end, chief inspector of the federal railways.
Political functions
- Member of the Innsbruck municipal council
- Member of the Tyrolean Parliament
He was also one of the founders of the Chamber for Workers and Employees for Tyrol and later also its president.

- March 4, 1919 to November 9, 1920: Member of the Constituent National Assembly , SdP
- November 10, 1920 to October 1, 1930: Member of the National Council ( 1st , 2nd and 3rd legislative period ), SdP
- December 2, 1930 to February 17, 1934: Member of the National Council ( fourth legislative period ), SdP
