Wilhelm Unverzagt (lawyer)
Wilhelm Unverzagt (born February 11, 1900 in Mainz , † June 9, 1971 in Bad Homburg ) was a German administrative lawyer .
Career
Undaunted studied law and received his doctorate in Jena in 1922 . He initially worked as an assistant judge and joined the Deutsche Reichsbahn in 1928 . From 1934 until his politically forced replacement in 1938, he was head of human resources management at the Reichsbahn in Frankfurt am Main.
At the beginning of 1946 he was appointed head of the transport and goods department in the French zone of occupation . From July 1955 until his retirement in 1965 he was President of the Federal Railway Directorate in Frankfurt . During his tenure, the electrification of the railway lines around Frankfurt and the planning of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn fell .
