Wilhelm Wallisch

Wilhelm Wallisch (born June 2, 1862 in Buchau , † November 10, 1952 in Vienna ) was an Austrian dentist .

Life

A native of Buchau in Luditz Wilhelm Wallisch devoted himself to filed Matura a degree in medicine at the German University in Prague , which he in 1886 with the acquisition of the academic degree of Dr. med. completed. Wallisch subsequently worked as a military doctor , professor of natural history , specialist in dentistry and chief physician at the military high school in Mährisch Weißkirchen from 1887 , before he switched to marital status in 1894 and settled in Karlsbad as a dentist and senior medical officer . In addition, he had been a private lecturer at the University of Vienna since 1909 . Wilhelm Wallisch, who died in Vienna in 1952 at the age of 90, was the father of the writer and physician Friedrich Wallisch .

Wilhelm Wallisch, who was considered an internationally recognized theorist and practitioner of jaw anatomy and surgery, as well as dental and oral pathology, was the inventor of an articulator .
