Wilhelm Wannemacher

Wilhelm Wannemacher (born May 23, 1927 in Darmstadt-Arheilgen ) is a German educator and homeland researcher .

Live and act

Wilhelm Wannemacher completed an apprenticeship at the Pedagogical Institute in Darmstadt . From 1956 he worked as a teacher at the Wilhelm Leuschner School in Darmstadt . In 1958, Wannemacher completed a Fulbright scholarship to study social education and social psychology in the USA . From 1960 to 1970 he taught sociology of education and didactics of social studies at the University of Frankfurt . Wannemacher was a long-time teacher and vice principal at the Thomas-Mann-Schule (since 1996: District School Arheilgen ) in Darmstadt-Arheilgen .
