Wilhelm von Arnim

Wilhelm von Arnim-Lützlow (born February 27, 1879 on Gut Züsedom , Western Pomerania ; † November 23, 1943 in Berlin ) was a German manor owner.

Life

Wilhelm von Arnim studied Protestant theology at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1901 he became active in the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . In 1910 he headed the congress of the Kösener Seniors Convents Association . Arnim was a legal knight of the Order of St. John and a committed member of the Protestant Church. In 1919 and 1921 he was a delegate at the German Evangelical Church Congress , which led to the establishment of the German Evangelical Church Federation. In 1933 he joined the Confessing Church and was a participant in several Confessing Synods , including the Barmer Confessing Synod in 1934. Within the Church of the Old Prussian Union , he was a member of the Brotherhood Council . He published numerous articles in hunting magazines under the pseudonym "Flemmingswald". He developed the Flemmingwald mark, with the help of which the performance characteristics of hunting dogs are marked. From 1923 to 1935 he was President of the Hunting Dog Association . The Allied air raids on Berlin , he came with his wife on November 23, 1943 died.

Wilhelm von Arnim married Margarethe von Arnim-Kröchlendorf on August 25, 1911 in Kröchlendorf and had seven children with her:
