Wilhelm von Zychlinski

Wilhelm von Zychlinski (born January 6, 1789 ; † November 24, 1860 ) was a royal Prussian captain , landowner and district administrator in the Meseritz district (1831-1851).

Life

origin

Wilhelm came from an old Wielkopolska noble family that was first mentioned in 1329 in Żychlin . His father was the Knighthood Councilor Johann Carl von Zychlinski on Dyk in West Prussia and his mother Helena von Unruh.

Career

Zychlinski joined the royal Prussian army in 1804 and took part in the battle of Jena and Auerstedt in 1806 . He was seriously wounded in the Battle of Leipzig in 1813. He then served as a regimental adjutant in Poznan and Wroclaw . In 1818 Zychlinski retired from the army as captain. He was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Prussia .

Zychlinski was a knight of the Order of St. John and holder of the Red Eagle Order 3rd class with ribbon. He was a member of the Meseritzer Freemason Lodge Louise for Immortality .

family

His first marriage was to Antoinette von Panwitz (1798-1820). His second wife was her sister Hermine von Panwitz (1793-1859). A son from his second marriage was Hermann von Zychlinski (1825–1886) , who later became a member of the manor house . Eduard von Zychlinski was his brother.
