Willi Ferdinand Fischer

Willi Ferdinand Fischer (born November 19, 1910 in Neumünster ; † December 9, 1981 in Lörrach ) was a German poet and writer .

Life

After Fischer had passed the Abitur examination in his hometown, he studied at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel and the University of Leipzig , philology , literary studies , art history , theology and psychology . He passed the exam as a secondary school teacher and then worked as a teacher at various schools in Schleswig-Holstein . At this time he began to publish his first poems and short stories and wrote book reviews, art and theater reviews. Due to the consequences of an accident in adolescence, he retired early. In 1939 he married Ruth Binder from Lörrach and moved with her to Lörrach in 1943. He was active as a journalist and writer. Fischer also campaigned for the Rötteln Castle Festival and regularly organized art exhibitions in Bad Bellingen .

He published a total of 13 volumes with poems, short stories and stories. His poems have also been widely printed in magazines. He also produced a brochure about the jungle doctor Theodor Binder , who was his brother-in-law. In the discussion about the role of Hermann Burte during the Nazi regime, he defended Burtes stance.
