Willi Wiesner

Willi Wiesner (born February 19, 1898 in Landsberg an der Warthe , † April 23, 1952 in Hamburg ) was a German production and line producer for film.

Live and act

Wiesner attended secondary school and then began to work as a men's outfitter. In 1927 he switched to film as an authorized signatory. From the mid-1930s he can be seen as Hermann Grunds production assistant in films such as Liebespeople, Eskapade, Uncle Bräsig, Die divine Jette , My friend Barbara, argument about the boy Jo and Anna Favetti .

In 1938 Willi Wiesner was promoted to production manager. In the early 1940s he was entrusted by Tobis as production manager with the technically smooth running of two ambitious large-scale productions, the tendentious films Bismarck and The Great King . Then Wiesner was busy with Harry Piel's lengthy panic film until shortly before the end of the war .

After the war Willi Wiesner worked as a production manager for Hamburg companies, from 1950 for his own company, Rondo-Film. He died two years later at the age of only 54.
