William Botting Hemsley

William Botting Hemsley (born December 29, 1843 in East Hoathly , Sussex , † October 7, 1924 in Broadstairs , Kent ) was an English botanist . Its official botanical author abbreviation is “ Hemsl. "

Live and act

Hemsley worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew. In 1889 he was elected as a member (" Fellow ") in the Royal Society .
