William H. Ziegler
William H. Ziegler (born September 4, 1909 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , † July 2, 1977 in Encino , California , USA ) was an American film editor .
From 1936 to 1975 he was responsible for editing almost 100 films, including three for Alfred Hitchcock . He was nominated for an Oscar three times : in 1959 for The Great Aunt , 1963 for Music Man and 1965 for My Fair Lady . In 1977 he died after a long and serious illness.
