Wilhelm "Willy" Dörr (born August 7, 1881 in Frankfurt am Main ; † April 5, 1955 there ) was a German track and field athlete , tug of war and sports educator.
Dörr took part in athletics and tug of war competitions at the Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens in 1906. While he was quickly eliminated in the discus throw, he reached 16th place in the modern pentathlon. Together with Wilhelm Born , Karl Kaltenbach , Joseph Krämer , Wilhelm Ritzenhoff , Heinrich Rondi , Heinrich Schneidereit and Julius Wagner , however, he won the gold medal in the tug of war, silver went to Greece.
After his sports career, he wrote several books on sports education issues.
