Willy Favre (born September 24, 1943 in Les Diablerets , † December 19, 1986 ) was a Swiss ski racer .

His greatest success was winning the giant slalom silver medal at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble . Four years earlier he was fourth in giant slalom and combined at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck .

In the Ski World Cup 1966 in Chile Portillo he reached 5th place in the combination and 6th place in the giant slalom. Favre's best result in the Ski World Cup , which has been held since 1967, is a second place, achieved on January 9, 1967 at the giant slalom in Adelboden . In the same year he became Swiss champion in combination.
