Willy Irlinger

Willy Irlinger (born April 22, 1915 in Freilassing ; † August 16, 1987 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Irlinger attended elementary and vocational school in Freilassing as well as the citizens' school in Salzburg and then trained as an electrician at the Überlandwerk. During the Second World War he worked in labor, military and military service in the intelligence service. From 1947 to 1972 he worked full-time at the German Trade Union Federation in Bad Reichenhall and Traunstein as district chairman.

Irlinger was a city councilor and 2nd mayor in Freilassing as well as volunteer as a district councilor and deputy district administrator in the Bad Reichenhall district . From 1958 to 1970 and again from 1972 to 1974 (as a replacement for Georg Kronawitter ) Irlinger was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

Awards

Irlinger was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit on June 5, 1968 .
