Willy Janssen (born February 19, 1960 in Sittard ) is a former Dutch football player .

Janssen came to PSV Eindhoven as a 16-year-old from Fortuna Sittard's youth . In the Eredivisie he had as the third youngest debutant in the league, 16 years and 198 days old, his first appearance on September 4, 1976 against NAC Breda . By 1981 he made 41 games for PSV in the Eredivisie ; one of the last was the league game against Ajax Amsterdam on March 7, 1981 , in which he was one of the best players. He was also used three times in the European and UEFA Cups . On September 1, 1981, he played once in the national team . At the international match in Zurich against Switzerland he made his debut under his former PSV coach Kees Rijvers as did Frank Rijkaard , Wim Kieft and Ruud Gullit ; in contrast to these three, he was allowed to walk for the full 90 minutes. At that time he was only a substitute player under his new club coach Thijs Libregts ; he was not used again in the national team or at PSV. He moved to NAC Breda, where he ended his active career in 1985. He later became a youth scout at PSV.

Willy Janssen's son Tim also became a professional footballer.
