Life
Until 1922 he did an apprenticeship as an electrician at the Allgäuer Überlandwerk in Sonthofen and then worked for various companies.

In 1950 he began producing dictation machines and a new, simplified answering machine, the alibiphon . With his Munich company Willy Müller & Co. KG , he began marketing the Willy Müller system from 1960 . From 1972/73 he used mini-cassettes for his miniaturized automatic answering machines in digital technology.
