The Wilson Pass is a 400 m high and glaciated mountain pass on the Bowman coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . In a northwest-southeast orientation it runs between the Bowditch Crests and the Rock Pile Peaks on the Bermel Peninsula . The pass leads from Solberg Inlet to Mobiloil Inlet .
He was photographed from the air by the US polar explorer Lincoln Ellsworth in 1935, during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941) and during the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947-1948). It is named after Alison Wilson from the Center for Polar Archives of the National Archives and Records Administration . She was a member of the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names from 1974 to 1994 and chaired the committee from 1986 to 1993.
