The Wilson-iris ( Iris wilsonii ) is a plant of the genus Iris ( Iris ) within the family of the Iridaceae (Iridaceae).
features
The Wilson iris is a perennial herbaceous plant . The stem is 60 to 75 centimeters high. The leaves are about the same height. The flowers are 6 to 8 centimeters in diameter. The standards are yellowish white in color, often have reddish brown spots and are obliquely upright.
The flowering period extends from March to April.
Occurrence
The Wilson iris occurs in western China .

The Wilson iris is rarely used as an ornamental plant. It has been in culture since 1909 at the latest.
